Welcome to my portfolio!

Hi, I'm Anna. I studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, where I deepened my skills in branding, photography, and creative thinking. My passion centres around developing thoughtful design solutions that combine creativity and functionality. For me, it’s all about working closely with people and really getting involved in the process.

I’m constantly curious and love to learn from others, as I often find inspiration in unexpected places. Nature, in particular, fuels my creativity – its colours, textures, and patterns influence both my design and photography work. My work reflects a balance between conceptual thinking and storytelling, always aiming to capture moments and create designs that feel honest.

I look forward to telling you more about me and my projects in person.

Every photo in this book was taken on film. Why? Annalog photography holds a unique value for me. Unlike digital photos, which I often delete impulsively, annalog photos remain – flaws and all – as tangible records on film. Discarding them feels wrong to me

Also the process itself adds to their distinctiveness. Limited possibilities, time-consuming development, and physicality make each photo special – not better, but unique.

This book is dedicated to my so-called bad photos. They’re an essential part of my creative process, challenging me to ask: What makes a photo good or bad? For me, technical perfection isn’t the answer. At first “bad” photo irritates or evokes negativity, but over time, even those can hold something interesting.

The project explores imperfection and challenges my standards, helping me redefine what "good" and "bad" mean – and sometimes even finding beauty in the imperfect.

That´s why, I have dedicated this book to my bad photos.
