Welcome to my portfolio!

Hi, I'm Anna. I studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, where I deepened my skills in branding, photography, and creative thinking. My passion centres around developing thoughtful design solutions that combine creativity and functionality. For me, it’s all about working closely with people and really getting involved in the process.

I’m constantly curious and love to learn from others, as I often find inspiration in unexpected places. Nature, in particular, fuels my creativity – its colours, textures, and patterns influence both my design and photography work. My work reflects a balance between conceptual thinking and storytelling, always aiming to capture moments and create designs that feel honest.

I look forward to telling you more about me and my projects in person.

Did you know that female athletes account for only 10% of all sports coverage?

Did you know that, compared to 54% of boys, only 5% of girls aged 6-13 have a role model in sports?

Did you know that, out of 100 magazine covers, only 6 feature female athletes?

Did you know that female athletes are more often portrayed passively or in private settings rather than actively engaged in their sport?

With this focus in mind, I created a photographic exploration of the unequal treatment of female athletes in media and sports photography, alongside interviews with the athletes themselves.

The goal was to create an alternative representation, showing that it is not nature but culture that shapes our judgments about appropriate behavior and appearance.

When viewing habits change, thought patterns change.
